CAR

500 metres away, on Via Mura Portuensi, is a public parking

  • From DOWNTOWN (10 minutes): go to the Lungotevere (bank) on S. Peter/Castel S. Angelo side. Continue on to the corner of  Viale Trastevere/Garibaldi bridge, turn right on Viale Trastevere and go ahead for 300 metres. At the 4th traffic light turn right on Via Morosini and go ahead on Via Mameli. ATTENTION ! Via Mameli is closed to public traffic from 6.30am to 10.00am from Monday to Saturday and from 11pm to 3am on Friday and Saturday. At the end of Via Mameli, turn right on Via Garibaldi  up to the end. Once there, take your luggage (but, attention, impossible to park there !) and walk on Via della Scala (on your right) for 50 metres; you will come across Piazza della Scala, where Flatinrome 8 is located.

  • From FIRENZE (A1) (50 minutes from the Roma Nord tollgate):  Take the exit in the direction Fiano - Roma Centro - GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and go for 21 Km. At the junction with GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take the direction FIUMICINO (A12)/ CIVITAVECCHIA/ (E80) and go for 27 Km. Take the lane that leads to exits 30-31-32-33 Aeroporto L. da Vinci, then take exit 30 (Highway Roma-Fiumicino in the direction Roma Centro/EUR). Go for approx. 5,5 km and take the exit Roma Centro/via della Magliana/Trastevere. Take Via della Magliana up to the end (more than 3 km.), following the direction Roma Centro. When you get to Piazza Antonio Meucci, go around the gardens and take the road on the left (Via Oderisi da Gubbio). At the end of this road, once in Piazzale della Radio, turn left on Viale Guglielmo Marconi, go under the railroad and take Via Ettore Rolli. At the fourth traffic light turn left (Via Cesare Pascarella). At the intersection with Viale Trastevere turn right and go on up to the 7th traffic light, where you turn right on Via Induno. Take first left then, first left again and go ahead up to the traffic light. Cross Viale Trastevere, take Via Morosini and go ahead on Via Mameli. ATTENTION ! Via Mameli is closed to public traffic from 6.30am to 10.00am from Monday to Saturday and from 11pm to 3am on Friday and Saturday. At the end of Via Mameli, turn right on Via Garibaldi  up to the end. Once there, take your luggage (but, attention, impossible to park there !) and walk on Via della Scala (on your right). for 50 metres; you will come across Piazza della Scala, where Flatinrome 8 is located.

  • From CIVITAVECCHIA (A12): Stay on the highway to the end, when it becomes the highway Roma - Aeroporto di Fiumicino. From there take the direction Roma Centro and continue on this road. Go beyond the junction with GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare), continue for approx. 5,5 km and take the exit Roma Centro/via della Magliana/Trastevere. Take Via della Magliana  to the end of the road (more than 3 km.), keeping the direction Roma Centro. When you arrive at Piazza Antonio Meucci, go around the gardens and take the road on the left (Via Oderisi da Gubbio).   • From NAPOLI (A2) :  Take the exit in the direction Roma Centro - GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and go for 18 Km. At the junction with GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take the exit Civitavecchia (A12)/ Aeroporti  and go for 20 Km. Take the lane that leads to exits 30-31-32-33 Aeroporto L. da Vinci, then take the exit 30 (Highway Roma-Fiumicino direction Roma Centro/EUR). Go for approx. 5,5 km and take the exit Roma Centro/via della Magliana/Trastevere. Take Via della Magliana up to the end (more than 3 km.), following the direction Roma Centro. Fiumicino L.da Vinci Airport
  • TRAIN (90-100 minutes - 8 Euros per person + 1 Euro for the tram, free for children up to 10 years). From the terminal train station take the city train towards Roma Tiburtina (platform 3). Do not take the direct train to the central train station Roma Termini. Get off the train at the 7th stop (Trastevere). Exit the station, walk through the square and take tram n. 8, in the direction Argentina. Get off the tram at the 6th stop (Belli). Come back 20 metres and take right on Via della Lungaretta. Go ahead up to Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. Once there take the alley in front of you (Via della Paglia) and walk for 50 metres. On Piazza Sant'Egidio turn right, cross the square and take Via della Scala on your left. Go ahead for 50 metres and you find Piazza della Scala, where Flatinrome 8 is located.
  • TAXI. 30-60 minutes - 40 Euros. Ask the for special flat rate from the airport prior to enter the taxi ! Roman taxis are usually small and will not hold more than 2-3 persons with luggage.
  • TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. 30-60 minutes - 15 Euros per person one way (60 Euros minimum fee).

AIR

Ciampino Airport

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT (120-140 minutes - 2 Euros, free for children up to 10 years) . Take the bus to Anagnina (underground terminus). Once there take the subway (Line A). Get off at Termini Station. Take bus H towards "Capasso" and get off at the 5th stop (Sonnino/San Gallicano). Go ahead 20 metres and take right on Via della Lungaretta. Go ahead up to Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. Once there take the alley in front of you (Via della Paglia) and walk for 50 metres. On Piazza Sant'Egidio turn right, cross the square and take Via della Scala on your left. Go ahead for 50 metres and you find Piazza della Scala, where Flatinrome 8 is located.

A coach service (Terravision Express Shuttle) operates between Ciampino airport and Termini mainline station. Tickets cost 5 Euros one-way.

 
  • TAXI 30-60 minutes - 40 Euros. Ask the for special flat rate from the airport prior to enter the taxi ! Roman taxis are usually small and will not hold more than 2-3 persons with luggage.
  • TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. 30-60 minutes - 15 Euros per person one way (70 Euros minimum fee).

TRAIN

From Termini Station.

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT (20-40 minutes - 1 Euro, free for children up to 10 years). Take bus H towards "Capasso" and get off at the 5th stop (Sonnino/San Gallicano). Go ahead 20 metres and take right on Via della Lungaretta. Go ahead up to Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. Once there take the alley in front of you (Via della Paglia) and walk for 50 metres. On Piazza Sant'Egidio turn right, cross the square and take Via della Scala on your left. Go ahead for 50 metres and you find Piazza della Scala, where Flatinrome 8 is located.

  • TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. 15-20 minutes - 10 Euros per person one way (40 Euros minimum fee)
