CAR

A parking area is 200 metres from the apartment at the underground station (3 Euros per day).50 metres away, on Via Tunisi, is also a parking lot (20 Euros per day or 68 Euros per week)

  • From Downtown (15 minutes): from Castel S. Angelo take Via Crescenzio up to Piazza del Risorgimento. At the end of the square take Viale dei Bastioni di Michelangelo. Turn at the first street on your left (Viale Vaticano); then first right (Via Santamaura); the flat is on the right side of the street.

  • From FIRENZE (A1) (45 minutes from the Roma Nord tollgate):  Take exit direction Fiano - Roma Centro - GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and go ahead for 21 Km. At junction with GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take direction FIUMICINO (A12)/ CIVITAVECCHIA/ (E80) and go ahead for approx. 20 Km. Take the drive-along way and take exit 1 Via AURELIA, direction Roma Centro (downtown). Continue on this road for approx. 4,5 km, up to Piazza Irnerio. Go beyond the square and take Via Baldo degli Ubaldi, then via Angelo Emo up to Piazza S.M. delle Grazie. From there take via Candia. The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street.

  • From CIVITAVECCHIA (A12): Stay on the highway to the end, when it becomes the highway Roma - Aeroporto di Fiumicino. From here take the direction Roma Centro and go ahead for 6 Km. At junction with GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take direction FIRENZE - AURELIA - CITTA' DEL VATICANO and go ahead for approx. 6 km. Take exit 1 Via AURELIA, direction Roma Centro (downtown). Continue on this road for approx. 4,5 km, up to Piazza Irnerio. Go beyond the square and take Via Baldo degli Ubaldi, then via Angelo Emo up to Piazza S.M. delle Grazie. From there take via Candia. The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street.

  • From NAPOLI (A2) :  Take exit direction Roma Centro - GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and go ahead for 18 Km. At junction with GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) take direction Civitavecchia (A12)/ Aeroporti  and go ahead for 27 Km. Take exit 1 Via AURELIA, direction Roma Centro (downtown). Continue on this road for approx. 4,5 km, up to Piazza Irnerio. Go beyond the square and take Via Baldo degli Ubaldi, then via Angelo Emo up to Piazza S.M. delle Grazie. From there take via Candia. The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street.

Fiumicino L.da Vinci Airport
  • TRAIN. From the terminal train station take the direct train to central train station Roma Termini. From there, take the underground (A Line, direction Battistini). Get off at “Cipro” stop. Outside the station take Via Candia: The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street. Fare 5 Euro per person (free for children up to 10 years).
  • TAXI. Fare 40 Euro. Ask the for special fix rate from the airport ! Roman taxis are usually small and will not hold more than 2-3 persons with luggage.
  • TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. Book in advance. Fare 60 Euro up to 4 persons.

AIR

Ciampino Airport

  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT. The Bus service connects the Ciampino Airport to Ciampino railway station and Anagnina underground station. Take the underground and get off at “Cipro” stop. Outside the station take Via Candia: The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street. Fare 2 Euro per person.  A dedicated coach service for Ryanair passengers (Terravision Express Shuttle) operates between Ciampino airport and the centre of Rome (Termini mainline station), where you can take the underground (A line, direction Battistini). Get off at “Cipro” stop. Outside the station take Via Candia: The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street. Tickets cost Eur 8 one-way and Eur 13.50 return (return tickets can only be purchased at Rome Ciampino airport) plus 1 Euro for the underground ticket (free for children up to 10 years).

  • TAXI. Fare 40 Euro. Ask the for special fix rate from the airport ! Roman taxis are usually small and will not hold more than 2-3 persons with luggage.

  • TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. Book in advance. Fare 70 Euro up to 4 persons

TRAIN

From Termini Station.

  • UNDERGROUND. Take the underground (line A, direction Battistini). Get off at “Cipro” stop. Outside the station take Via Candia: The 4th street on the right is Via Santamaura: the flat is on the left side of the street. Fare 1 Euro per person (free for children up to 10 years).

  • TAXI. Fare approx. 20 Euro. Roman taxis are usually small and will not hold more than 2-3 persons with luggage.

  • TRANSFER WITH PRIVATE VAN. Book in advance. Fare 50 Euro up to 4 persons.

From central bus station Stazione Tiburtina
